Before there was the Hwacheon machine tool, there was Tomoe Iron Works, a company founded by Kwon Seung Gwan. Seven years later, he founded Hwacheon Machine Tool Company which began manufacturing machine tools a few years later. In the 70s, the company experienced growing success, won the Industry Commendation, and was recognized by the Commerce – Industry Ministry as a quality product manufacturer. The company continues to thrive and has achieved other significant milestones. Today, the global company is well recognized around the world, continues to win awards, and continues to impress industry experts and customers.
